Degree Apprentice, Simone is in the final year of her BEng Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree and is en route for a successful career at Sellafield Ltd.

Currently working as a design engineer while completing her studies at Wigan & Leigh University Centre, Simone has enjoyed working on projects such as the Infrastructure Strategic Alliance – specialising in power engineering.

She is also due to start a site secondment in summer for the highly active liquor evaporation and storage facility project. Based at one of the most iconic nuclear sites in the world, Simone is on the journey of creating a clean and safe environment for future generations.

HNC Engineering
(Electrical and Electronic)

The HNC Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) course provides the opportunity to advance your knowledge and skills providing students with analytical thinking skills and the principles of electrical engineering. Students can achieve a HNC (Level 4) in Year 1 and a HND (Level 5) in Year 2.
