  • Backed by £290 million government investment in state-of-the-art facilities and technology.
  • Each IoT focuses on one or more specialisms in STEM-based subjects.
  • Specialising in Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), Levels 4 and 5 (HNC/HND), Professional training and Higher Apprenticeships.

Courses are offered through our education providers across Greater Manchester and specialise in the construction, engineering, computing, creative media and health sciences sectors.

The GMIoT will deliver training and employment opportunities that are co-created with employers for the careers of the future as well as responding to current skills and workforce needs.

We are committed to delivering an innovative technical curriculum through our education institutions and our mission is to provide a pipeline of talented, work ready individuals qualified to levels 4 or 5 (HNC/HND level) in technical sectors to meet business need.
