Students at Trafford & Stockport College Group are set to benefit from a major new partnership with the Greater Manchester Institute of Technology (GMIoT).
The appointment of Trafford & Stockport College Group as an official education partner expands the geographical reach of GMIoT across the region, enabling more students to benefit from world-class higher technical education.
As the latest education partner of GMIoT, Trafford & Stockport College Group joins the University of Salford and leading colleges, Wigan & Leigh College, Bury College, Tameside College, and Ada, the National College for Digital Skills.
GMIoT puts Greater Manchester at the forefront of skills and innovation, with leading industry names such as Siemens, Laing O’Rourke and GCHQ working alongside education providers to shape courses that meet the needs of fast-growing industries.
For Trafford & Stockport College Group students, this partnership will create exciting, new career pathways in construction, digital and cyber, supported by cutting-edge facilities and real-world learning experiences.
By offering specialist Level 4 programmes in Engineering, Construction and Digital (Cyber), Trafford & Stockport College Group will give its learners access to advanced technical qualifications that are directly linked to the jobs of the future.
The collaboration ensures students can gain high-level knowledge and the industry insight and connections that make a real difference when starting their careers.
