Mechanical Engineering (Part-Time) - HNC/HTQ/Lvl 4
Delivered at Tameside College, this part-time course provides the higher-level knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue technical and managerial roles in mechanical engineering.
Why study Mechanical Engineering?
- Taught by lecturers with a Level 6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of relevant industrial experience, covering units including mechanical principles, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, engineering design and production engineering for manufacture.
- A Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) developed with employers to ensure training is directly relevant to industry, combining academic content with the working knowledge and skills required in practice.
- On completion, progress into managerial and technical positions in mechanical or electrical engineering, or continue onto the Level 5 HND (HTQ) and ultimately a full degree at university.
