Course Overview
- This degree is designed for students who have completed an HND or foundation degree in engineering and want to progress to a full honours degree. It develops advanced skills in areas such as design, control, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing. While strengthening critical thinking and analytical abilities for senior engineering roles or postgraduate study. The course is ideal for those already working in the industry or aiming to move into technical, design, or project engineering positions.
- You’ll gain an understanding of Control Engineering, Sustainability Design, Design Manufacturing, Heat and Transfer Mechanics; whilst studying the Professional Engineering Project over the two years. You’ll be assessed through written examinations, presentations, exams, practical and projects.
- Upon completion you’ll have greater access to senior engineering roles and postgraduate study. You’ll also have gained professional recognition through BEng accreditation by the Institution of Engineering and Technology towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
