Course Overview
- This course develops advanced computing skills with a specialism in AI, preparing learners for employment or further study in one of the fastest-growing areas of the digital economy.
- You’ll study a carefully selected mix of modules across HNC and HND levels to develop technical expertise, practical application, and workplace readiness in the digital sector. Core areas include programming, cyber security, cloud computing, AI, data visualisation, software development, business intelligence, and emerging technologies; with optional modules adding further depth and flexibility.
- You’ll study full-time, two days a week for two years. This allows you to balance work, life, and learning.
- You’ll be assessed using a variety of methods such as projects, coursework, presentations, software builds, digital portfolios, research tasks, and technical content creation. This blended approach reflects real-world digital practice and supports the development of a strong professional portfolio to showcase to future employers.
