Course Overview
- This course is designed to help you start or progress a career in the electrical and electronic engineering sector. With it being built around real industry needs. The course takes a hands-on, project-driven approach to areas such as digital control systems and electrical machines. To prepare you for roles in energy, power, and smart systems. It’s taught by industry-experienced tutors, it equips you with the technical knowledge and professional mindset employers are looking for.
- You’ll gain a variety of soft and hard skills in core electrical systems engineering through mandatory units covering mathematics, science, programming, professional practice, electronics, electrical machines, and fault finding.
- You’ll be accessed through written assignments, practical tasks, project work, group activities, and presentations. These are designed to reflect industry practice, helping you build confidence and problem-solving skills that you’ll use in your career.
- You’ll study full time 2 days per week for 1 academic year with a mix of classroom, lab and project-based learning. There will be the option to complete a HND after year 1.
