Course Overview

  • The course is designed for learners who have completed an HNC and want to progress to advanced engineering study. It focuses on power systems, automation, digital technologies, and smart sustainable infrastructure. The course develops higher-level technical and problem-solving skills aligned to employer needs. Whilst being taught by industry-experienced tutors and shaped around real-world projects.
  • You’ll study advanced mathematics in engineering, embedded and electronic systems, signals and communications, sustainability, and a major engineering project. These topics will strengthening both your practical and technical skills in Engineering.
  • You’ll be able to study on a full-time basis, over one year.  You’ll complete a wide range of assessments including project work, practical assignments, written reports, presentations, and reflective portfolios. These are designed to build your confidence and apply your learning directly to the kind of work you’ll encounter in industry.
