Course Overview

  • This course is designed for learners who have completed a Level 4 qualification and want to progress into site supervision or site management roles within the construction industry. It focuses on developing the technical knowledge and leadership skills. These skills are essential to manage teams, resources, safety, and the quality of life on construction sites. It is delivered with flexibility with September and January start dates. The course supports those balancing work and study while preparing them to take on greater responsibility and progress their construction career.
  • This HND builds on Level 4 study to develop the practical skills and responsibilities needed to manage construction sites safely, efficiently, and professionally. Through units covering project management, advanced construction technologies, sustainable methods, surveying, and maintenance. The course strengthens your ability to lead teams, manage health and safety, ensure compliance, and keep projects on time and on budget. With a strong focus on leadership, organisation, communication, and real-world practice.
  • You’ll study 1 day per week for 2 years. This part-time format is designed to work alongside your job or personal commitments.
  • You’ll be assessed through practical and work focused exercises, combining written assignments, case studies, and project work. All assessments are internally set and marked to reflect industry tasks. To ensure you develop real-world skills that are valued by employers.
