Course Overview

  • This course is ideal for those seeking to start or progress a career in electrical and electronic engineering. You’ll develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills through industry-aligned learning. Whilst gaining an experience of dealing with employers, work placements,  and guest speakers.
  • You’ll gain a core understanding in mathematics, science, programming, professional practice, mechanics and materials, electronics, mechatronics, automation, robotics, and PLCs. You’ll be assessed through written assignments, presentations, and practical laboratory exercises; over two years on a part time basis.
  • Upon completion you’ll gain access to further apprenticeships, degrees, professional employment. These paths offer you with further routes to a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Alongside further opportunities across electrical, electronic, and nuclear power industries.
